Petal Pushers

As I've been telling this tale of wondrous joy at my door, and led you from my doorstep through layers of layers of lovingly wrapped gifts, I thought I'd tell this tale in reverse. The gift was sent as a thank you by two of my nieces. These beautiful young ladies reside in the lone star state and are very near and dear to my heart if not my home. We were able to have a weekend visit at the beach with them in the first part of our summer beach retreat. So in reverse order from my door...meet the lovely petal pushers...
Melissa is the older of the two blossoms...
and Kimberly is the same age as my daughter, Elise
combined, they make a lovely trio of water lillies...wouldn't you agree???
So a weekend of toes in the water...
ladderball on the sand...
inspired Melissa and Kimberly to gift our home with this lovely bloom...
and this very gracious note....
lifted from this box...
a harbinger label...
and yes once again...joy at my door!
Thank you Melissa and Kimberly...it was pure delight having some well sought after time with our lovely nieces and to introduce you to the eastern shores...
and Atlantic foam...
Merci Beaucoup~ and
Loves~Loves~Loves~

Sush...I just realized that I was not following your blog. So here I am. I'm hanging my head in shame. This was a great post and the ladies are beautiful. As you know I'm in Myrtle Beach so I can appreciate the beauty of the pics. We certainly were lucky to be the winners from the Giggle Fest!!!

Now that Bouncin' Barb's joined the club the gang's all here. I enlarged that sea foam picture because it looked so refreshing and took me back to my youth. I'd spend every day of vacation body surfing on those Eastern beaches. They had to drag me out of the water at dinner time. There's lots of love going around the blogiverse today and it's warming my heart. I'm so glad you got your share of it, dear Sush, because there is no one more deserving.

How fun and what a beautiful bunch of women and flowers! Nothing like a box of surprises and joy at the front door! Have a good weekend Sush!

>Sandie...I am indeed very lucky and dearly blessed!

>Bouncin' Barb...do you mind if I shorten it to BB? No need for head hanging in this part of town! Everyone's welcome anytime and with all the people you take care of on your blog, I'm surprised you even noticed! I enjoy all your thoughtful comments and your postings!

>Shelly, I thank Heaven nightly for my blessings and count them twice! Hugs~

>Sweet Tea...it was truly a week of largesse! Here's to successful shopping for you!

>Shady...I was a Florida panhandle summer girl myself...surfboard and sailboats all summer long! I really don't have a particular body of water...as long as my body is in water! I don't know how worthy this ole gal is of all the love but I sure do appreciate it and count my blessings!

>YaYa...they are a lovely bunch! And my door had more joy than I ever expected this week...Bliss! You have a lovely weekend yourself!

Your daughter and nieces are lovely and what a wonderfully thoughtful thank you gift. Blue is my favourite colour in the garden! Your new hydrangea will bring you joy for years to come!

Hi there! It's me, following behind everyone else as usual! Guess it must be the time difference. What beautiful nieces you have (and daughter) and what a kind, thoughtful gift to arrive on your doorstep. It's a beautiful hydrangea which will look lovely in your garden. Oh that sea! I just adore the sea. I only wish we had better weather over here a little more often, as we only live a short while from it. Have a lovely weekend my friend.

Well Thisisme I'm following even further behind than you!!!

Sush, what lovely nieces you have and a beautiful gift.

I love the sea too but unfortunately don't get there too often.
Nothing like a walk along the ocean edge.

Enjoy your gift and your weekend.

I was glad I got to see the ladies before the beach trip, and I have heard talks of them coming again next year?

What beautiful flowers. I only wish I had seen some blooms on mine this year. Someone in the house got a little too happy with the pruning shears last year...and it wasn't me.

What thoughtful ladies your nieces are. You've had such a fun week with door surprises.

I love the Atlantic coast, although I'm more familiar with the North Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia. Part of my heart resides there and I long for it at times.

Wow! You've gotten over like a bandit this week. First the shoes and now the flowers.
As they might say here in Alabama, "them are some purty girls"
