Surgery Scheduled

Nothing is moving on the homefront so to speak. Wednesday is the day for surgery to remove the stone. It has been a long and wearing episode, and we will both be happy to see its conclusion.

Thanks for all the lovely comments and hopefully life will be a more positive story to report...

Hugs to all~

I hope the surgery goes well. We have a friend going in to hospital on Friday for the same procedure.

I'm so sorry it's taken so long for this blasted thing to move, but it is good news that that surgery will do the trick. Take care of yourself, too, my friend!

Hi my friend. As you say, this has been dragging on for too long now. Poor hubby! (and poor you too, of course!). It was a pity that it didn't just go of its own accord, but at least after the op, your hubby will be out of pain, and that can only be a good thing! Wish him good luck for Wednesday from all of us, and I pray that all will go well.

I know what an anxious time this will have been for you, especially, Sush! Husbands tend to put on a brave and stoical front and just carry on, while we, as wives, quietly worry! I am glad to hear your hubby's surgery will be done tomorrow and hope that by this time (evening here in SA) tomorrow, it will all be over. Hopefully, the doctor will be able to look at the spot on his kidney and give you some feedback on that, too. My thoughts will be with you both and I hope it all turns out successfully on both accounts!
Big hug xoxo

Hugs and prayers. I don't mean to sound overbearing but since I was in your place once,(my husband's bypass surgery) I know how it feels. Doctors know what they are doing and they do things at the right time. God willing you husband will be up and about before you know:)

I hadn't been by your blog is a bit and was surprised to see what I missed. I hope his surgery went well today and that dang stone is a goner! They are very painful and I work in surgery and see them taken out or smashed on a weekly basis..not fun but hopefully it won't happen again, or atleast for another 20yrs! Thinking of you guys tonight...
