In Honor Of Daddy's Birthday...and an Anniversary

It's such a wonderful day, this day. My Dad was born on this date in 1920. The world was definitely made a better place that day. He loved with all his heart and was a true gentle, man...a gentleman and a scholar. He taught me so many things about life, most importantly how to live and love and love living. Happy Birthday, Daddy...hope you know how much you are loved and missed...and gentle breezes are filling your sails!
PS Tomorrow is my sister Aimee and her husband Wayne's wedding anniversary, she's the bride in the picture! Happy Anniversary you love bugs!

Your father raised a fine daughter, Sush. I know that he is proud of you and I know how much you miss him. My father was born in 1913 and his birthday is coming up on October 21st. I miss him, too. Bless you, dear Sush, for being such a warm and wonderful person.

Hi there. What a loving post in honour of your dear dad on his birthday. I'm sure he is very proud of his lovely daughter. It would have been my dad's birthday on the 9th October, and I will do a post for him. Happy Anniversary to the love bugs!

Sandie...thanks for dropping in...I've loved the quotes you've been sharing on your posts. Nothing like our Dad's no matter how old WE get or how long they've been gone...

Kathi...You are so right. It does help keep them alive to remember and write about our loved ones.

Belle...He was a great Dad...a Father of five daughters and one son. He made my sisters and I all feel like his favorite princess! He adored my brother. A true 'dear' man.
