Down For The Count

Christmas greetings dear ones. This will be a brief posting. It seems the cold I was fighting for two weeks turned into bronchitis right before Christmas. For the first time ever in my life I had to put the house in quarantine and have yet to celebrate Christmas with anyone other than my sweet date of the last forty plus years and my daughter who came to bring sustenance to her parents and open gifts.

My husband went to the Dr as well as he isn't sounding so spiffy himself. Thankfully his is just a cold. We've been hacking and all the yucky things you could think that would go with this...ugh! This was a first for our forty years I will say. Glad I had my best friend with me.

Keeping the laptop on my lap seems to bring on the coughing fits so I'm sad to say I'm off for a bit. I wish you all the Best of New Years and look forward to another year of sharing life with my dear blogging friends and meeting all the lovelies out in the world. Because what is so amazing to me is we do meet people and make friends from all over the lovely planet we all share.

Much loves~loves~loves~

Ack! I've had that twice in my life and it is awful. So sorry you are sick right now, but glad your hubby is there. One time the whole family got the flu at Christmas. We had to celebrate later in the week.

You must be really sick to cancel Christmas even if just for awhile. I'm glad your husband doesn't have it. Stay warm and drink plenty of liquids. Prayers being sent your way. sandie

Doggone it, Sush, why do bad things happen to the nicest people? I'm so sorry, dear friend. I suppose all you can do is ride it out. Keep warm, rest, drink a hot toddy now and then and know that your blog friends around the globe are thinking about you and rooting for you to make a speedy recovery. God bless!

First, Happy Late Anniversary wishes! Second, Merry Christmas! Third...what the heck? Bronchitis? I'm so sorry it happened right before the holiday and I hope you're feeling better and hubby too. This is a bad time of year and it's usually the time of year I get sick...but so far so good. I'll wish you a happy New Year and a healthy one too. I've enjoyed your blog this year and I'm looking forward to many fun posts in 2012..

Bronchitis sucks and the only thing you can do is rest. Don't worry about us. We'll be here when you're feeling better. If we don't hear from you before the weekend...Happy (and Healthy) New Year! Hugs.

We must be sisters Sush. For the first time in the 40 years we've been married, both Lloyd and I are sick over Christmas - bad colds that dragged on for over two weeks. Unfortunately our plans couldn't be changed so we motored on. I hope you got the rest you needed and are feeling much better now. Best wishes for a healthy and happy new year.

Oh, Sush- I hope that by now you are back on the road to health. Feeling sick is rotten, especially with something like bronchitis.
