Happy New Year

Whew...goodbye 2011! You had some highlights but saying goodbye isn't hard! An update on the cooties that invaded me and my home and then enough is enough about health. Turns out when I went to see my Dr.instead of the urgent care people he felt something more than bronchitis was amiss. After an exam and a chest x-ray, pneumonia was the new diagnosis. A change in meds and instructions to stay in bed and rest and he sent me on my way. I'm happy to report the new meds seem to be working and I'm breathing easier...getting lots of missed sleep and slowly climbing my way out of this nest of cooties!

I don't have a lot to report as it's been me myself and I for company and activity. As soon as I get the ok we are going to have a delayed Christmas and finally get to watch the little ones open gifts. That's my favorite thing about Christmas!

I hope you all had a merry and wondrous Christmas, and I wish you all the best for 2012. Your loving and kind words cheered me up and lifted my mood from feeling like 'Poor Pitiful Pearl' to feeling loved and remembered.

Until my inbox fills with fun or activity of any kind, see you soon and,

Loves~Loves~Loves~

Girl, you have been through it. I'm glad you got the correct diagnosis and are finally on the right meds. Although delayed, your Christmas celebration will still be grand and glorious. Take care of yourself, and may 2012 bring you and yours only the best of the best!

Here's to second opinions, Sush! If you're breathing easier then so am I. Having your health restored is the most precious Christmas gift of all. It's never too late to spread the joy of Christmas and the kids will love having their holiday extended. I wish you all the best in 2012, Sush. Happy new year, my dear friend!

Hi Sush. Thank goodness the meds were changed, and you are finally starting to feel a little better. It must have been pretty rotten for you over the Christmas period, but at least you've got the excitement of seeing the little ones opening their pressies to look forward to! I wish you and your lovely family a very happy, peaceful and HEALTHY new year my friend. Take care.

I'm sorry to hear that you were so sick! But thank goodness you finally received the care that you really needed. That's a tough experience to have missed out on the gift opening on Christmas morning. I would have been depressed about that. Take care and feel better soon.

Dear Sush - I've been wrestling aligators myself and didn't realize you'd been so sick. I hope you feel like yourself very soon. Being sick with one of those things that won't go away is the worst! My mom was down with something like what you've had for about 3 weeks! I've been a bad blogger and will try to stay more on top of what my friends are doing from here on.

I'm sorry you have been sick for such a long time. I'm also glad the doctors found out what was really wrong. You must feel so wiped out. It is no fun having trouble breathing. I hope you are completely well soon and have a lovely Christmas with the little ones.
