Good Ole Abe! He tells it like it is.Rosemary
HAHAHAHAAAA! Love it. So true.
So true. My students love to bring me quotes and facts from Wikipedia. lol I believe I have broken them of that habit. People growing up today just don't seem to know that the Internet is rife with lies, misinformation and scams, all knotted together with some truth.
I love it!
LOL! Love it!
That truly made me laugh!
Did he? Wow! You know a lot. Thanks for sharing.http://francene-wordstitcher.blogspot.com
Abe Lincoln was a wise man and a great president. Unfortunately he didn't look good on television.
After writing papers for those wicked English professors, I was trained to use reliable sources and give credit to the writer. Imagine my confusion when I first stepped into the waters of facebook and watched my adolescent nieces and cousins forget to add the sources of their brilliant status updates. Sometimes I would send them messages asking who said that. They would reply, "oh I just found it on so and so's status." The internet is indeed a muddy place!
I so needed a good laugh . Thanks ! LOL
Ha. Love that one :) Anna@Herding Cats & Burning Soup
Abe is so right - but every once in awhile you have to fake it, as long as they sound good.
hahaha love it!my son goes to Gettysburg college.
Heheheh that might just actually be the best quote ever. :D
A number of years ago, I wrote a newspaper column about the economy. I thought it was very funny. I made up hilarious quotations from Alan Greenspan and other important people. No one noticed it or said a word. I was so disappointed.Love,Janie Junebug
